"Warm, Quiet and Friendly"

Excellent twin room with room to move. Clean and comfortable and a warm haven from the outside chill. Everything we needed and more at great value. Located off main road through Armidale but quiet inside. Easy walk to pubs clubs and town centre if so inclined. Would certainly stay again.

What a great place to stay very helpful and friendly staff, room was great very clean and tidy , nice big tv bed was very comfortable was a very good place to stay felt like home rooms very quiet and spacious.

Stayed for 1 night in a twin room . Good sized room but a bit dated . Can't complain as it was only $113 . Good for a 1 night stay on the way to Brisbane . Would only stay here again if I got the same room . |

We asked were the locals eat and drink and got told straight up the Whilte Bull. And the directions were easy and within walking distance. Even told us that we could park our motorbike undercover at the front office. |

This motel is family owned and they are very friendly and helpful,,, The rooms are clean and warm, every comfort you need. The motel is close to the township of Armidale,,, which has a lot of heritage, art cultural centres as well as farming and rural drives. The motel is central but also very quiet. Seniors discount is available,,, (just make sure you ask!) |

Confortable and Quiet
I stayed at the White Lanterns Motel during my Uni Residential School. I chose this motel based on location, price and amenities. The motel was a handy distance to the main shopping district and it was an easy drive to and from the Uni. It was much better than staying on campus and I was happy to pay for the comforts of home - and for not having to share the facilities with other students.

We did not have croissants but yes the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet. It was an easy walk for an evening meal and not in the " bustle" of the cbd. Room facilities were excellent and comprehensive. |

Put this motel on you list. Great value for money, very short drive to town centre, warm welcome, comfy bed with electric blanket, heating and cooling in room, tea and coffee making with milk and bickies plus microwave oven, remote control tv, table and chairs plus 2 lounge chairs. Enjoyed our stay and will return.

Our Booking Terms & Conditions
Late check-ins (after 9:15pm) must be arranged and agreed with management prior. We may not accept late check-ins depending on the circumstances and seasonal periods. It's your responsibility to check with us first before booking on our web site or any booking agent.
Booking/Reservations Guarantee: While we make the best of efforts to ensure your booking is correct and has been entered into the reservation system, we offer NO guarantees or accept any liability if for the very rare possibility that the booking is unavailable. We will always try and assist with finding alternate accommodation but offer no guarantees or accept any liability. We suggest guests phone and check on the day during peak/busy periods to ensure everything is in order.
Our Rates are dynamic and may change at ANY TIME depending on availability, demand, peak or low periods and special last minute promotions. Rates displayed on our web site are NOT guaranteed until the actual booking has been made directly on our web site. Prices in printed guides represent a normal rate out of peak season. Prices may vary depending on the actual date.
Golden Chain and Senior Discounts only apply if membership is mentioned upon making a booking on the phone. Discounts only apply to rack rates and not our online prices. Membership cards must also be presented upon arrival to ensure a discount applies. Discounts do NOT apply if booking outside our organisation such as wotif.com, booking.com, agoda, tripadvisor, etc. Discounts only apply to our 'Rack Rates' and will not apply to already discounted rates. If you have already paid on checkin and have not discussed any possible discounts we will not offer any refunds on the difference.
Payment for accommodation is taken upon check in, credit card details and certain personal information is also required. At any time we can refuse your booking if these details are not provided. No refunds are provided if you decide to reduce your agreed nights.
All cancellations require 4 days notice by phone otherwise the entire stay may be charged to the credit card provided. Third Party booking agents such as wotif.com and booking.com etc have their own cancellation policies and often provide special last minute discounted rates that once booked cannot be refunded in any way for any reasons. In the event of a "No Show" the FULL amount will be charged to your credit card provided.
Pre Payment / General
If a company or individual makes a booking and wishes to pay by EFT, we request that payment is made 3 working days before the night.
In the event of a last minute change or cancellation, we do not provide a refund or partial refunds for any reason. Certain circumstances may arrise with a particular booking risk and we my request full pre payment prior to the booking night(s), if the original booking is changed to reduce nights or cancel we do not provide refunds.
Changes or cancellations for bookings when you are currently 'checked in' the motel will not be refunded in any way. For example; If you book and pay for several nights and decide to leave early and reduce the nights, we will not provide a refund. Special weekly rates are available with a minimum of 5 nights payment upfront. - If there is a possibility that you might change the total nights, you must first discuss this while checking into the motel. However Weekly rates will always have a minimum of 5 nights.
Booking Agents such as expedia, wotif.com, booking.com provide exact prices, no discounts such as Golden Chain or Seniors are applicable using these companies. All communication must be handled with them directly and not us, as they handle the booking once booked with them.
Group Bookings: We have 2 ways of handling group bookings;
- a) The preferred method is the 'organiser' informs their guests of our motel and gets everyone to book directly with us over the phone or on our web site. Each guest is responsible for their own bookings. This results in a minimum of fuss and ensures accuracy. It also prevents the booking from being much more complex and time consuming to arrange. Each guest handles their own individual room account.
Note: We do not accept bookings taken on 'behalf' of other guests unless the person booking this understands they are responsible for the room account in full.
- b) The second method is, if one person books all the rooms required (more than 5) and takes full responsibility for the entire account. A credit card will need to be provided with a 25% non re-fundable deposit required to hold the rooms. Payment of the remaining amount is required in full on or before arrival. This method is generally for companies, small bus tours, corporate bookings. If there is a cancellation 14 days or less the ENTIRE amount WILL still be charged to the credit card or invoiced to the company. Reductions of rooms on the original booking may not be accepted. Note: Pre Payments by EFT are non refundable.
Wireless Internet is provided as a free complementary service for our guests, it is provided "as is" and no technical support is available. The free service is not guaranteed in any way what so ever and may not work with all computers and devices. Direct Internet Connection is also available through CAT5 cable. It's important to understand that guests are paying for a motel room with general facilities, Wifi is a complementary service with NO guarantees. In the event that the WiFi; does not work or is non functional on the night we will not refund any money if you choose to cancel your accommodation.
